GPC "First Friday" Newsletter – June 2021
Dear praying friends, dear brothers and sisters!
Since our last monthly newsletter much has happened in and around Israel. More than 4.000 Rockets have been fired on Israel‘s population. Tensions between Jewish and Arab Israelis have grown. Anti-semitism and hatred against Israel has escalated on the streets of cities in the Western world. In other words: The battle for Jerusalem has further escalated.
Our online conference with the title „Battle for Jerusalem“, 54 years after the re-unification of Jerusaelm, seems to have proven to be even the more timely and relevant. A major focus was on prayer -prayer with leaders from Jerusalem for Jerusalem and Zion as well as prayer for our nations, world regions and continents regarding their attitudes and actions towards Jerusalem and Zion. In that context, it is our privilege and duty to raise our voices on behalf of God’s plans and promises for Jerusalem: „For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, …“ (Is. 62,1). Please have a look at the current schedule and video-clip, plan your weekend accordingly and pass on this information to friends who might be interested to participate.
