Dear intercessors!
I trust, you had a blessed and Holy Spirit inspired start into the new year! I agree with Rick Ridings evaluation that 2022 will be a year of more shakings and deeper up-rootings on the one hand, and greater polarization combined with strong increase in light and redemptive power on the other. I would like to recommend Ricks insights: https://succathallel.com/prophetic-direction-for-2022/
On January 20, 2022 we commemorated the 80th anniversary of the Berlin Wannsee conference, where the „Final Solution“ was planned by Hitler’s regime. On January 27, 2022, we commemorated the 77th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp in 1945. Both commemoration events raised some awareness in Germany and in many nations of this world. I am sure a number of you were involved. Bless your hearts and praise the Lord!
As we move into 2022, it is my sense that the Lord wants me to travel more again and involve myself in prayer activities in a number of nations. Let us pray that the Lord will open doors in order to strengthen the „Kings and Priests“ in those countries who are assigned to intercede for Israel as well as to pray for their own countries to become “sheep” nations.

Dear friends and partners!
Happy Hannukah! It is great to remember, together with the Jewish people, how the God of Israel delivered the people of Israel from the oppression of the Hellenists! The Spirit of the living God is more powerful than the „Spirit of Greece“! And what has been true in the past is still true in the present. Let us worship and celebrate the God of Israel and father of our Lord Jesus Christ!
On Nov 9th, we heard the following news from the Israeli UN Mission in New York:
„Israel Turns to Africa: Israel's Ambassador Erdan holds special event to strengthen Israel-Africa relations. 25 UN ambassadors from african countries participate along with founder of innovation: Africa Sivan Ya'ari, organization's new initiative to connect about 2,000 villages in Africa to running water and renewable energy unveiled. The event was held as part of ambassador Erdan's initiative to strengthen relations with African countries and to keep Israel as an observer in the African Union. Ambassador Erdan: "Israel is constantly investing in and expanding our relationships with African countries. Israeli innovation has already led to the connection of thousands of African villages to water and electricity through many collaborations led by the Foreign Ministry." Let us (continue to) pray into this development as the Lord leads.
Dear friends and partners in prayer!
Our „Feast of Trumpets“ 26-hour prayer call on September 5-6 was a deep and substantial experience. To Rick Ridings, Benjamin Berger, Sandra Teplinsky and more then hundred prayer and worship leaders from around the world: Thank you again, thank you so much for your contribution!!! We are so grateful and so encouraged to the Lord and to all of you! It was a indeed trumpet call into the heavenly realm! I call for blessing on Israel and for mercy on our nations and world / language regions as we approach the „valley of decision“!
In the context of the UN General Assembly, diplomats from the „Abraham Accord“-nations met and celebrated the first anniversary of this historic development. The press office from the Israeli UN-mission reports:
(New York – September 14, 2021) Yesterday, Israel's Ambassador to the United States and the United Nations Gilad Erdan, the United Arab Emirates' Ambassador to the UN Lana Nusseibeh, Bahrain’s Ambassador to the UN Jamal Alrowaiei, Morocco’s Ambassador to the UN Omar Hilale, and the U.S. Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield addressed an event celebrating the one-year anniversary of the Abraham Accords. The event, co-hosted by the Permanent Missions of Israel, the UAE, Bahrain, and Morocco to the United Nations took place at the Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust in Manhattan. Ambassadors to the UN from all over the world and leaders of key Jewish organizations were in attendance.
Dear praying friends around the world!
Recently, I have been deeply touched by Psalm 86. It is a psalm of David. David, with a soft and broken heart! Crying out for the mercy of God! As the Lord is comforting him and lifting his spirit, he realizes the greatnes of God by confessing the mercies of God for the nations: „Among the gods there is none like you, Lord; no deeds can compare with yours. All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord; they will bring glory to your name. For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God.“ How wonderful! How powerful! We may be comforted personally as we are made aware of His mercies for the nations! I share more about this in the First Friday Clip of this month of July 2021.
The last Prayer Call from June 5-6 2021, around Jerusalem-Day (Gregorian calendar), was a huge encouragement! The first and the last slot of two hours within the 26-hour call centered around Jerusalem. The first two hours focused on the input of messianic leaders Benjamin Berger and Sandra Treplinski as well as the prophetic orientation given by Rick Ridings from „Succat Hallel“ (with the Temple Mount being the center of attention) and Arab-Christian leader, … , sharing about her vision of a „love revolution“ between Jews and Arabs and beyond. The last two hours where filled by testimonies about what the Spirit of the Lord did amongst us as we prayed for different nations, continents and world regions in relation to their relationships to Israel during the 22 hours of prayer around the world. So powerful! So deep and inspirational!

Dear praying friends, dear brothers and sisters!Since our last monthly newsletter much has happened in and around Israel. More than 4.000 Rockets have been fired on Israel‘s population. Tensions between Jewish and Arab Israelis have grown. Anti-semitism and hatred against Israel has escalated on the streets of cities in the Western world. In other words: The battle for Jerusalem has further escalated. Our online conference with the title „Battle for Jerusalem“, 54 years after the re-unification of Jerusaelm, seems to have proven to be even the more timely and relevant. A major focus was on prayer -prayer with leaders from Jerusalem for Jerusalem and Zion as well as prayer for our nations, world regions and continents regarding their attitudes and actions towards Jerusalem and Zion. In that context, it is our privilege and duty to raise our voices on behalf of God’s plans and promises for Jerusalem: „For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, …“ (Is. 62,1). Please have a look at the current schedule and video-clip, plan your weekend accordingly and pass on this information to friends who might be interested to participate.
Dear praying friends!
I recently read a word in the Psalms that really touched me. Psalm 86,9-10: „All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord; they will bring glory to your name. For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God.“ God has made the nations! And they shall worship HIM and glorify HIM! How wonderful!!! But you know: Only those nations who bless Israel will come into the final fulfillment of their calling and will finally be healed and finally worship HIM, the Lamb, and reign with HIM. (Rev 22,1-5)
Welcome to our GPC newsletter for May 2021!
Israel continues to be under a lot of pressure and tension: The political crisis after the 4th elections in two years, the covid pandemic, social and financial pressures, the threat by Iran and their proxies, etc. Last week Israel was crushed by the most severe civil catastrophe in its 73 year modern existence: 45 where crushed to death, over 150 hurt at a mass Lag B’Omer event in Meron. „Good Shepherd of Israel – have mercy upon your people!!!“ (Psalm 23)
Dear intercessors around the world!
I trust you all had a blessed Christmas season and a Spirit-filled start into the New Year. As for Israel, the start into 2021 was an extremely challenging one. Israel is into its third lockdown, unemployment and poverty in the land is rising to record levels and new elections are on the way since the unity-government fell apart under the current internal and external pressures. Let us continue to pray for Israel and bless Israel in these challenging and uncertain days!
On January 20, after many tensions and battles regarding election integrity and procedure as well as the storming of the capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, Joe Biden was installed as the 46th president of the United States of America. As GPC, we had encouraged prayer for the re-election of Donald Trump for a number of reasons, but mostly for the way he has changed US-Israel relations during his term and the promises he made to continue on that route. How shall we now respond and adapt?
Since the basis of our prayer as GPC was Daniel 2:19-22, our encouragement would be to continue our prayer on this basis:
“Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him.“
Our encouragement would be to find peace in the fact that the Lord our God is higher and above this political decision. If our God is willing and able to handle king Nebuchadnezzar, the greatest enemy of Israel at that time, he also can handle Joe Biden, speak to him, transform him and even work through him.
As the “times of shaking” continue, the Lord is expanding His Kingdom. I trust that many of you are personally experiencing His endless grace, His divine protection, His fatherly pruning, and His patient leadership. Certainly, in Israel, in the affairs of the nations and in His body, the believing church, His Kingdom and the preparations for His return are progressing and expanding.
The upcoming Ten Days of Awe, between Sept 18th and 28th 2020.
Through the Jewish calendar and the biblical feasts, the Lord provides a deeply meaningful and precious opportunity for both the Jewish people and the body of Christ to humble ourselves before Him - the creator, judge and redeemer. As GPC, we want to invite you to use this opportunity personally as well as in your priestly calling as you reflect – as a representative of the royal priesthood (1 Pet 2,9) - on the relationship between your nation and Israel. In this unique season of world events, let us put these 10 days of awe to effective use in 2020! Let us use this opportunity to reflect, research and repent for our nations as an expression of the global intercessory body of Christ and ask for HIS redemption and forgiveness for the failings of our nations in their relationship with the Jewish people and the nation of Israel - past and present. How we can take our stand and cooperate in biblical and spiritual unity shall be further explained in this newsletter, in the current First Friday video clip and in further information to be published on our website within the next 1-2 weeks.
Get Ready For the Return of Jesus!
In this message from Harald Eckert we will primarily deal with Matthew 24 and 25 - The end-time speeches of Jesus in the version of Matthew. These begin at the end of chapter 23 with Jerusalem and finish in chapter 25 with the Last Judgment of the nations, which also stands in relation to Jerusalem as described below. In between, the statements of Jesus are dealt with, which refer to the birth pangs of the Last Days with reference to the coming kingdom of Jesus.
In the second part of the message Harald Eckert goes into the four parables, which begin at the end of chapter 24 and are further elaborated in chapter 25. Each of these four parables deals with a target group that is obviously especially important to Jesus with regard to the Last Days. First of all the spiritual leaders, secondly the universal church of Jesus in the Last Days, thirdly every single believer and fourthly the world of nations.
Israel has voted! The election strengthened PM Netanyahu and his potential coalition. Still, those involved in the negotiations need wisdom, protection and the right attitudes of heart. Please continue to pray. Please pray especially for president Rivlin as he still has a key role in the processes of negotiation after the elections.
Please also have a look at this plan from Israeli Foreign Minister Katz. Let us pray that after a new government is formed, this proposal gains new momentum and let us continue to pray for our nations regarding a biblical position towards the status of Jerusalem and the right diplomatic consequences: https://www.breakingisraelnews.com/134231/israels-foreign-minister-to-announce-plan-for-all-world-embassies-to-move-to-jerusalem/
Europe has elected and sworn in a new Commission, which took office on December 1st 2019 in challenging times. We have compiled portraits of two leading personalities, who will likely have a great say in the future shaping of EU-Israel relations: Ursula von der Leyen, the new president of the European Commission and her Vice-President Josep Borrell, the new High Representative of the European Union. Furthermore, we include our statement on the recent European Court of Justice’s verdict, which stipulates obligatory labelling for Israeli produce originating from beyond the green line.
Ursula von der Leyen, Germany’s former minister for family affairs and later minister of defense, finally made it to the top of Europe. On December 1st, on the 13th floor of the Berlaymont, she took over the helm of the European Commission from Jean-Claude Juncker. Von der Leyen, the Brussels-born aristocrat, trained medical doctor, mother of seven, and crown-princess of Angela Merkel’s grace, succeeded in finally reaching the European Parliament’s approval of her commission with the help of Polish and Hungarian Eurosceptic votes. The spotless image of the ever-smiling, multilingual showcase European with her We can do it!-attitude and a sixth sense for publicity and self-promotion was recently clouded by a still ongoing Parliamentary Commission Inquiry concerning a consulting issue during her stint at the German Ministry of Defense. The sometimes-unconventional Christian Democrat, known for her rather liberal views on marriage, has a proven and solid track-record on topics pertaining to Jewish or Israel-related issues.
